Join us as Kelsi Jackson talks about her webcomic, A Slice of Life, her experiences as a children’s book illustrator and her art exhibit on display at the Salem-Panola Library.

Kelsi Jackson is a professional artist who has a strong focus in illustrative work. She lives in Atlanta, Ga and has been creating art since she was little. She received her Bachelor's degree in Fine Art in 2015 down in Columbus, Georgia, where she acquired a number of skills, such as an understanding of sequential art, graphic design and sculpting. She has been in 5 group shows and has a public piece down in Columbus, Georgia.

After college, Kelsi continued her career in art as a professional artist. She has worked on a number of client work ranging from children books to logo designs. She also is the creator of a webcomic series named “A Slice of Life.” Along with working as a freelance artist, she works as an intern for Art Is King, where she has not only continued to push herself as a professional artist but continued to help and provide to the art community.
